Joel began Toy Theater in 2001 with an idea for how he could use interactive media to invest his creativity with purpose. He has turned this into a site used by millions. He is constantly sketching, creating, thinking, learning, and revising games and activities on the site. Every decision is made with care to fulfill his mission to provide high quality educational games. He also gains insights from his brilliant partner wife Phyllis and the five kids they parent together.
